A BIT ABOUT ME

I am personal trainer with 10+ years of experience living in Chobham, Surrey.

I train clients from the ages of 25- 80 and I specialise in:

  • Injury rehabilitation

  • Managing chronic illnesses and pain conditions

  • Sports specific strength and conditioning (with a particular focus on strength training for equestrians)

  • Quality of life- increase your fitness, strength, stability, flexibility and mobility to grab life by both hands, however you want to live it!

 

Thanks to zoom, I work with people internationally across four continents and I also work in person with clients from my private, fully equipped studio in Chobham, Surrey. 

WHAT I DO

My approach is evidence based, meaning I spend a lot of my time reading scientific literature as well as enrolling in courses every year to ensure my clients receive an individualised program that is backed by the best, currently available scientific evidence. Everybody  is unique and requires an individualised approach that promotes adherence and is actually enjoyable!

I work out of my private studio in Chobham as well as working

with online clients around the world.

I had been struggling with a recent back injury that had pretty much terrified me into lifting any weights in the “incorrect” way, whilst also having a very old wrist injury that flared up whenever I did bootcamps or even yoga if I put too much weight on it. I wasn’t happy with my body in terms of the extra jiggle I was carrying and wanted to tone up in general and lose a little weight along the way.

Since I’ve known Lauren I’ve changed so much, not just physically but mentally. In the beginning I was so convinced there were so many exercises I just could not do because of my injuries, It’s been a slow and steady process that has really changed the way I feel about my body, so much confidence and just generally liking myself for the first time in a long time. My jiggly underarms are now guns, I’ve got a sick set of upper abs and the thing that weirdly excites me the most….I don’t have the big extra bulge over my bra strap in the back which I kind of just assumed was there forever!

I could not recommend Lauren enough for what she’s done for me: I wasn’t sure how I would workout during lockdown but honestly I’m in the best physical shape in 10 years with my zoom sessions and nutrition advice. I'm very lucky to have found Lauren when I did, she’s been a rock throughout. the pandemic and has taught me how to like myself and it feels f**king fantastic!!
